NOTIFICATION: The entrance exam of Freshmen 2017/ 2018 will be held on Sunday 26/11/2017 in two slots – 8.00AM-10:00AM (Business, Economics, ICT, Engineering, Social work, Journalism, Political science,Statistics, Education, Islamic banking) & 10:30AM-12:30AM (Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Optometry, Applied science, Agriculture, Veterinary, Animal science, Law, Islamic)
Undergraduate Admissions Requirements
The admissions requirements for the undergraduate degree programs at the University of Hargeisa are:
- Completed Application Form 2017-2018.
- Original or certified copy of Secondary School certificate or equivalent
- Two passport-sized photos, and a folder.
- Receipt for a non-refundable application fee of $25 into the University of Hargeisa account in:
1. Dahabshil Bank: – Acc Number 1006
2. Salaama Bank- Acc Number 60007776
ENTRANCE EXAMS
- Students applying Medicine, Science, Agri/Vet, and Education colleges will sit for English, Biology, and Chemistry examinations.
- Students applying Islamic and law faculties will sit for Arabic, Islamic studies, and General knowledge exams
- Students applying ICT, Business & Economics, social work, and statistics faculties will sit for English and Mathematics exams
- Students applying Engineering faculty will sit for English, Physics, and Mathematics exams.
