Deans Message
“It is good to learn Islamic studies, however how can I actually make money” is a question I get asked a lot even by parents.
Pursuing knowledge shouldn’t be contingent on whether or not you’ll make a few bucks from it, knowledge is supposed to teach you about how to have a sound life style and have a blessed place in the hereafter because as people of the Muslim faith we do believe in an afterlife.
One should pursue knowledge to learn how to live the right way for instance how to treat other in general, how to treat your family members, how to raise your children to be upright because at the end of the day human beings are the best investment.
So knowledge should teach you about life not just how to make money off of what you learn, a lot of people go to universities and end up taking completely different career paths then what they initially went to school for.
When knowledge is pursed for the purpose of changing ones life, life opens suprising doors for them.
Some of our graduates work in the business sector, some teach, some work in the media, some the government, some work in law sector, so have their own business. We teach people knowledge not to make money to learn how to lead healthy lives.
By the way learning about Islamic studies doesn’t have to mean that you become a scholar in the field however one has to know about the Islamic principles of their everyday transations and affairs.
This college’s curriculum is very well made and stands strong in its field, it’s the same curriculum as the ones taught in Saudi Arabica, The UAE & Sudan, it is an international standard curriculum. The curriculum consists of the Philosophy Of Islamic Law (Figh), Islamic Theology (Aqidah), Jurisprudence Of worship (Fiqi Al Ibadah), Principles Of Islamic Jurisprudence (Usul Al Fiqi) and the reports and sayings of prophet Muhammed PBUH (Ahadith). Almost fifty percent of our curriculum consists of the Arabic language (Luqa Al Arabia) that we have strengthen and then there is the studies of culture (Thaqafah) and the systematic development and training (Tarbiyah).
Our language of Instruction is Arabic, the medium of instruction for all of the other colleges in this University are in English.
Most of our youth start their early education with an afterschool Qur’anic Institute so almost every resident within this country has a pretty good understanding of Islamic studies to begin with so you can say that the almost everyone gets a head start at this college.
A great fit for this college is a student who is already passionate about Islamic affairs and Arabic.
What we teach contrary to popular believe isn’t hard.
Our students have a lot of chances to study abroad a lot of our students have obtained masters and PHD in international centers such as Mahad Kharduum Al Duwali which is an institute owned by the Arab Coalition.
Students have vast opportunities to possess a comprehensive sound lifestyle, pave a career path for themselves and be very successful
