On the 9th of August, 2018 prof. Abdi Omar Shuriye held a public lecture on the Political Situation In East Africa.
Prof Abdi Omar Shuriye is (MA (IIUM), PhD (UKM) Professor Of Political Science & former Dean of Centre For Postgraduate Studies – International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
The public lecture addressed several issues such as colonial mentality, external looker mentality, inferiority complex, poverty mentality, lack of political maturity among many other points.
