Commitment To The Islamic Ethics – The Ethics Of Clothing/Wardrobe And Beautification In Islam

According to PEW Research Center as of 2015 the world had 1.8 billion Muslims which constitute about 24% of the world’s populations. Also the center estimates that the number of Muslims world wide by 2050 will be 2.76 billion or 29.7% of the society.

Islam is a faith rooted in practicality and spirituality a like it governs every day behavior as well as the matters of the heart. Islam places peace in the hearts of people as well as logic in their minds.

The College of Islamic Studies & Arabic Language being the active body it is in Islamic affairs arranged and held two public lectures at the University Of Hargeisa campus.

One lecture was entitled “Commitment To The Islamic Ethics” the lecture was conducted by the two esteem sheiks: Sheik Ismail Abdi Hure (Sheik Ismail Deeg) and Sheik Abdirahman Ahmed Aw Abdi.

The second lecture was entitled “The Ethics Of Clothing/Wardrobe And Beautification In Islam” the lecture was conducted by esteem sheik Mohamed Omar Dirir.

As mentioned before Islam is a practical religion which addresses every aspect of life, both public lectures tied into one another and addressed Islamic ethics and morals the former more generally the latter more narrowly on dressing and beautification.
