On Thursday 3rd of May 2018, the University of Hargeisa executed SHEDS Project Training on Education Management Information System for universities, this project is funded by EU/Kenyatta University & implemented by the Directorate Of Higher Education & Science MOES.
During the training universities across Somaliland where trained on how to feed all of their necessary data from the number students that are registered at the university, to how many of them are males and how many are females, to how many students are on scholarship et cetera.
