Governing economic hubs and flows in Somali East Africa (GOVSEA)

GOVSEA is a six year research programme (2014-2019) that analyses state formation dynamics under conditions of limited statehood by examining the governance of economic hubs and flows and their state effects in Somali East Africa. A three years project aimed at transforming Education for Sustainable Futures network, which is funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund through the Economic and Social Research Council Network Plus scheme. It is coordinated out of the University of Bristol and works with partners in India, Rwanda, Somaliland, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
