University of Hargeisa Strengthens its Partnership with Addis Ababa University

The University of Hargeisa is thrilled to announce a significant step towards international collaboration. Today, the Vice President for Academic and Research from our university Dr. Fuad Obsiye had the privilege of an official visit to Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia. We extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Jeilu Oumer, the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dr. Abdurezak Mohammed, the Vice President for Admin and Student Support at the Addis Ababa University for their warm welcome and insightful discussions.
A fruitful meeting of the UOH Vice-president Dr. Fuad Obsiye with the Addis Ababa University top management centered on formalizing an MoU to strengthen the dynamic partnership between the two institutions. A range of new collaborative opportunities, including: Student and Staff Exchange Programs, Joint Research and Development Projects, Joint Postgraduate Programs, Short-Term Leadership Trainings, Visiting Professors/Scholars have all been explored at the meeting.
This potential new collaboration underscores the University of Hargeisa’s commitment to internationalization and providing our students and faculty with world-class opportunities. We look forward to the continued development of this exciting collaboration.
