Meeting Between the University Top Management and Faculty Members of the Various Colleges at the University of Hargeisa

The meeting, which commenced on February 19, 2025, lasted for two days. The purpose of the meeting was for the university’s top management to brief the faculty members on the ongoing developmental changes across the university and the structural reforms implemented at the University of Hargeisa.
The discussions focused on the following key topics:
1. Introduction between the new administration and faculty members.
2. Updates on structural changes within the university.
3. Enhancing the universityā€™s services for students and the broader community.
4. Improving the quality of faculty and students.
5. The 10-year vision for the University of Hargeisa.
The two-day meeting was attended by all faculty members, the top university administration, and the relevant office management teams. The directors of the human resources and academic departments provided briefings on the objectives of the meeting.
The top management team, led by Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Sulub, the President of the University, along with the Vice Presidents Dr. Fuā€™ad Abdi Obsiye and Dr. Abdirashid Ismail Mohamed, expressed their gratitude to the faculty for participating in this significant gathering. They provided insights into the universityā€™s ongoing educational initiatives, University restructuring, infrastructure development, and both short- and long-term strategic goals.
Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Sulub delivered an inspiring speech in all meetings, emphasizing the crucial role of faculty members as the backbone of the university. He also reaffirmed the administrationā€™s commitment to holding similar meetings regularly to ensure continuous engagement and progress.
At the conclusion of the meetings, the faculty members expressed their appreciation to the administration and pledged their support through advice, guidance, and prayers. The meeting, which also included a Q&A session, ended successfully, with all participants united in their commitment to advancing the universityā€™s development.
