The School of Graduate Studies at the University of Hargeisa successfully conducted a training program titled “Research Data Analysis, Interpretation, and Thesis Writing for Master’s Students.” The initiative aimed to enhance postgraduate students’ practical skills in research methodology, data analysis, interpretation of findings, and academic thesis writing, equipping them with the competencies required to produce high-quality scholarly research.
The training was facilitated by Dr. Abdirahman Saed Mohamed, Associate Professor of Social Research Methodology, who provided participants with valuable insights into research design, statistical analysis, interpretation of results, and effective presentation of research findings. Through practical examples and interactive discussions, students gained hands-on experience in addressing common challenges encountered during the research and thesis development process.
This capacity-building initiative reflects the University of Hargeisa’s continued commitment to promoting research excellence and supporting postgraduate students in their academic and professional development. By strengthening research and analytical skills, the School of Graduate Studies seeks to foster a culture of evidence-based inquiry and contribute to the advancement of knowledge and innovation in Somaliland.
