Undergraduate Admissions

The University of Hargeisa offers you more than 30 undergraduate admissions. Admissions are opened every September each year.

Admission requirements for Undergraduate admissions in every faculty

• Admissions and/or placements to all regular undergraduate programs are processed through the Registrar.
• Criteria for admissions and enrollments into all graduate and undergraduate programs are developed by the academic units concerned in consultation with AEC (Admissions & Enrollment Committee) and approved by ARVP (Academic & Research Vice President)
• Admission to undergraduate programs is based on completion of secondary education and obtaining the necessary pass mark in the University Entrance Examination, and the equivalence established by the Higher Education Commission.
• Admissions and enrollments to all programs are processed by the University Registrar in consultation with the academic units concerned.
• Criteria for special admissions to individual programs such as special needs education, are developed and recommended by the Academic Commission of the relevant academic unit and endorsed by the AEC and Approved by the ARVP.

Applicants are expected to complete these requirements for any undergraduate program.

• Recognized Secondary Certificate
• Four passport-sized pictures and a soft copy
• $30 non-refundable registration fee paid in University accounts at Dahabshiil DHRG1006 or Dara Salaam Bank 60007776
• Filled out application form with a selected first and second-choice degree programs
