The University of Hargeisa Library hosted a professional training session on Government Documentation, facilitated by Mr. Sacad Ismail Samatar, a Library Science specialist from the United States. The training brought together University staff to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of modern approaches to managing and utilizing government documents within higher education institutions.
Throughout the training, participants explored the importance of government documentation in supporting teaching, research, and administrative functions. The sessions also covered best practices for organizing, preserving, and effectively using official records to enhance institutional efficiency, safeguard information, and promote evidence-based decision-making.
