The Directorate of Academic Program Development and Promotion coordinates development, revision, and termination of degree programs in coordination with the line offices . It is also responsible for monitoring program accreditation, review, delivery methods, and offering sites.

The Office of Academic Programs Development and Promotion coordinates with other line offices to help establish a cohesive workflow and framework for curriculum design.  It is responsible for all academic matters including the initiation, coordination, and supervision of all the academic plans and programs of colleges, schools, centers, and institutes of the university.
