A delegation from the College of Business, Economics, and Statistics at the University of Hargeisa, led by the Dean, Dr. Fekadu Y. Maru (PhD), accompanied by the Deputy Deans, paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Auditor General of the Republic of Somaliland. The meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to explore avenues for strengthening collaboration and fostering closer engagement between academia and the public sector.

The delegation was received by Mr. Muse Yusuf Osman, Director General of the Office of the Auditor General. Discussions focused on several strategic areas of cooperation, including student internship placements, staff capacity building, curriculum review and development, guest lectures on auditing and accounting, joint research initiatives, and professional development programs. Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to building a strong partnership that supports knowledge exchange, enhances practical learning opportunities for students, and contributes to the development of skilled professionals in Somaliland.
