The University of Hargeisa hosted the first day of a meeting between Form Four students from secondary schools across Hargeisa and the Chairman of the Somaliland National Examinations Office. The event aimed to prepare and raise awareness among students ahead of the upcoming national certificate examinations. It was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education, the Chairman of the National Examinations Office, the Director General of the Ministry of Education, regional and district education officials, the Director of Secondary Schools, principals from 29 secondary schools, and teachers.

The meeting was also attended by the Vice President for Academic Affairs of the University of Hargeisa and the leadership of the Faculty of Education. During the session, students were briefed on the rules, procedures, and requirements of the forthcoming national examinations, with particular emphasis on the new measures and guidelines introduced this year. The officials encouraged students to prepare thoroughly for the examinations and to adhere to all examination regulations to ensure fairness, transparency, and academic integrity throughout the examination process.
