A delegation from the University of Hargeisa (UoH), led by Mukhtar Mohamed Abby, Dean of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH), visited the Department of Social Work at the University of Stavanger (UiS), Norway, as part of the European Union-funded Erasmus+ Mobility Programme.

The delegation was warmly received by Dr. Ayan Handule, who welcomed the visitors and guided them on a tour of the university’s key academic facilities, including the library, auditorium, and the Department of Social Work. The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful academic engagement, knowledge exchange, and discussions on strengthening institutional collaboration.

This visit reflects the growing partnership between the University of Hargeisa and the University of Stavanger, established following the University of Stavanger’s visit to the University of Hargeisa two years ago. Through the Erasmus+ Mobility Programme, the two institutions continue to deepen cooperation in staff mobility, academic exchange, and collaborative initiatives, reaffirming their shared commitment to advancing higher education, research, and international partnership.
