The University of Hargeisa has officially launched the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for final-year students of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. The OSCE is a practical clinical assessment designed to evaluate the competencies and professional skills students have acquired throughout their academic studies and clinical training.

The theoretical component of the final assessment was completed earlier, while today marked the commencement of the OSCE, attended by 33 final-year medical students, comprising 22 female and 11 male candidates. During their final year, the students completed their clinical rotations and practical training at Hargeisa General Hospital, where they strengthened their medical knowledge, clinical competencies, and patient care skills.

This rigorous assessment process ensures that students demonstrate competence across a wide range of essential clinical and patient care skills before graduation.
