University of Hargeisa President Strengthens Ties with SOAS University of London

During an official visit to the United Kingdom, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Sulub, President of the University of Hargeisa (UoH), held a high-level meeting with Professor Laura Hammond, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Knowledge Exchange at SOAS University of London.

The meeting focused on establishing a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening collaboration in research, academic exchange, and institutional development. Both leaders discussed opportunities for joint research projects, faculty and student exchange programs, and capacity-building initiatives designed to enhance the academic and operational frameworks of their respective institutions.

This engagement represents a significant milestone toward formalizing international collaboration between UoH and SOAS, fostering knowledge sharing and research-driven partnerships that contribute to global academic advancement while supporting local development in Somaliland.
