The University of Hargeisa (UoH), the leading higher education institution in Somaliland, has officially announced its Scholarship Program for the 2025–2026 Academic Year.

This initiative aims to support outstanding and financially disadvantaged students who have completed secondary education but face challenges affording university tuition fees. The program is part of UoH’s continued commitment to promoting equitable access to higher education and nurturing talented youth who will contribute to national development.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:

• Be citizens of Somaliland.
• Have completed secondary school with a minimum grade of “C”.
• Pass the University of Hargeisa entrance examination.
• Demonstrate financial need and inability to afford university tuition.

Application Process

Interested students should:

1. Fill out the official Scholarship Application Form available at the Office of Student Affairs.
2. Attach copies of their secondary school certificate, two recent passport-size photos, and any supporting financial documents.
3. Submit the completed form to the Office of Student Affairs before the deadline.

Application Deadline

All applications must be submitted no later than October 20, 2025.
