The Faculty of Economics and Islamic Banking under the College of Business, Economics, and Statistics at the University of Hargeisa successfully concluded its Debates Program for third-year students, aimed at strengthening students’ public speaking, critical thinking, academic debate, and self-confidence skills. The program provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, communication abilities, and analytical thinking on various academic topics.

Throughout the program, students actively participated in competitive debates, showcasing strong teamwork, understanding, and intellectual engagement. The debates focused on educational, economic, and social issues, helping students enhance both their academic and interpersonal skills.

At the closing ceremony, the best-performing group was recognized and awarded for their outstanding performance, teamwork, and dedication. The faculty reaffirmed its commitment to continuing similar initiatives that contribute to improving educational quality and preparing students for their future professional careers.
