The Directorate of Research at the University of Hargeisa, under the New Research Model initiative, organized a Data Analysis Training for student supervisors aimed at strengthening research supervision skills and improving the quality of academic research across the university. The training brought together supervisors from different faculties to enhance their practical knowledge in data analysis and research methodologies.
The training was officially opened by the vice president for research, innovation and partnership, Dr. Khaled Ahmed Abdi, who emphasized the importance of building strong research capacity and equipping academic staff with modern analytical and supervisory skills. He highlighted the university’s commitment to advancing research excellence and fostering a strong academic research culture.
The sessions were facilitated by Mustafe Hassan Dahir and Mahad Ibrahim Ali, who guided participants through key concepts and practical approaches in data analysis and student research supervision. The training reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional research systems and support high-quality academic output.
