Students from the College of Agriculture, Veterinary, and Environment at the University of Hargeisa conducted an educational field visit to Arabsiyo as part of their course Soil Fertility and Plant Nutrition. The visit aimed to strengthen studentsโ practical understanding of soil fertility, plant nutrition, and their role in improving agricultural productivity.
The students were guided by Mr. Yusuf Warsame Jama, who provided detailed explanations on the relationship between healthy soil, essential plant nutrients, and crop growth. He also demonstrated how classroom knowledge can be applied in real farming conditions.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe soil conditions, farming practices, and the importance of proper nutrient management in plant growth. They also discussed key issues related to soil conservation, improving soil fertility, and managing plant nutrition for better crop production.
