A delegation from the Higher Education Commission, led by Commissioner Jaamac Cabdi Muxumed (Falaash) and Commissioner Haybe Cismaan Muuse, paid a visit to the University of Hargeisa. During the visit, they held a special meeting with members of the University’s administration, discussing issues related to the quality of education and the improvement of higher education services.

Afterwards, the commission visited various sections of the University, including the different laboratories such as the Engineering lab, the Health Sciences lab, the vector-borne diseases lab, as well as the University’s Emergency Center that serves staff and students in urgent situations.

The purpose of this inspection was to assess the quality of the educational and research services offered by the University of Hargeisa.

They also visited the student registration center for the new academic year, where they commended the modern system used to register students.
