Postgraduate students enrolled in the Master of Science in Advanced Nursing Practice (MSc ANP) – Emergency, Trauma and Critical Care programme at the University of Hargeisa participated in an intensive practical session on Advanced Resuscitation and Surgical Emergencies.

The session provided students with valuable hands-on experience in the assessment and management of critically ill and injured patients. Through practical demonstrations and simulated emergency scenarios, participants strengthened their competencies in advanced resuscitation, rapid clinical assessment, emergency decision-making, teamwork, and the management of life-threatening surgical emergencies.

The practical session forms an important component of the postgraduate programme, helping students bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice while preparing them to respond confidently, safely, and effectively in demanding emergency, trauma, and critical care settings.
