The meeting also explored opportunities for collaboration in research and innovation, including data management, knowledge production, and evidence-based policymaking.
Both institutions reaffirmed the importance of partnerships between academia, government, and development partners in addressing challenges related to water security, climate resilience, public service delivery, and socio-economic development. The University of Hargeisa expressed its appreciation for UNICEF Somalilandโs continued engagement and looked forward to translating these discussions into impactful initiatives that contribute to sustainable development and community well-being across Somaliland.
