The National Institute for Development and Strategic Studies (NIDSS) at the University of Hargeisa successfully hosted an engaging workshop titled “The Art of Critical Thinking Output for Fresh Students,” providing first-year students with an opportunity to demonstrate the analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills they developed throughout the training. The event brought together members of the University management, academic staff, and students in celebration of student learning and innovation.

The workshop was officially opened by Dr. Fuad Cabdi Obsiye, Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Hargeisa, who emphasized the importance of critical thinking as a cornerstone of academic excellence, innovation, and responsible leadership. Remarks were also delivered by Dr. Hassan, Director of the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS), while Mr. Ahmed Gool Cade attended as the Guest of Honour, underscoring the importance of empowering young people through quality education and intellectual development.
