The University of Hargeisa has officially concluded a highly valuable and impactful Staff Team-Building Workshop, held under the theme “Building a Resilient and Standardized Future.” The two-day workshop focused on strengthening collaboration, mutual understanding, and unity among University staff, while fostering an environment that encouraged consultation, collective action, and institutional solidarity.

The closing session featured a guest presentation by Ms. Suad Ibrahim, who delivered an insightful talk on “Effective Communication, Trust, and Accountability.” Her presentation highlighted the critical role of effective communication, shared trust, and accountability as foundational pillars for building an institution grounded in teamwork, transparency, and shared responsibility.

Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the challenges and opportunities across various University departments. Practical and collective solutions were identified to enhance work systems and overall collaboration. The University’s senior management attentively listened to the perspectives and recommendations presented and reaffirmed their full commitment to implementing the proposed solutions to improve performance quality, efficiency, and institutional effectiveness.
