Training: Banking and Financial Institution Law

An important training program titled Banking and Financial Institutions Law has officially commenced at the Senate Hall of the University. This four-day training focuses on enhancing understanding of the legal frameworks that govern the operations of banks and financial institutions, as well as their role in supporting economic development.The training is being provided by Mr. Abdirahman Muse, an experienced professional in banking and financial institutions law, who is guiding the participants through key legal concepts and practices in the sector.

The opening of the training was attended by the Director of Research, Publications and Community Services at the University, Dr. Khalid Ahmed Mohamed, who highlighted the significance of this program for both the community and the university’s students. Dr. Khalid encouraged students to take full advantage of this valuable learning opportunity.

The Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research, Dr. Fu’ad Abdi Obsiye, also delivered opening remarks. He emphasized that such training programs are part of the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen students’ knowledge and promote their understanding of modern financial laws.

This training is part of the university’s broader strategy to enhance students’ skills, preparing them for the job market and enabling them to contribute to the country’s economic development.
