𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲

The Cameraman & Voice Recording Intern will support the Media Office by providing high-quality visual and audio coverage of university activities, events, community engagement programs, and selected major occasions, contributing to effective communication and institutional visibility.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Capture high-quality photographs and video recordings during university events, lectures, ceremonies, and official activities.
• Document outdoor and off-campus fieldwork conducted by students and staff.
• Record community and student engagement programs.
• Set up and manage microphones and basic audio equipment to ensure clear sound quality.
• Capture short, event-based video clips suitable for social media platforms such as TikTok during special university events.
• Organize and submit raw photo, video, and audio files to the Media Office for archiving and editing.
• Perform additional media-related duties as assigned by the Media Office.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 & 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Hargeisa.
• One to two years of relevant experience.
• Proven skills in photography and videography.
• Experience using DSLR cameras, video cameras, and basic audio equipment.
• Good understanding of lighting, framing, motion capture, and audio clarity.
• Ability to work independently in campus and field environments.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘀

• High-quality event photographs.
• Raw video recordings with clear audio.
• Short raw video clips suitable for social media use.
• Well-organized submission of all media files to the Media Office.
