The new cohort of students seeking admission to the University of Hargeisa for the 2025 academic year sat for the university entrance examination today. A total of 2,200 students participated in the exams — comprising 1,200 female and 1,000 male candidates — reflecting the continued growth in interest among young learners to join Somaliland’s leading higher education institution.

The entrance examination covered a range of subjects aligned with more than 30 undergraduate programs offered by the University. The University’s administration extended its best wishes to all candidates, expressing hope that they will succeed and soon join the ranks of future scholars and professionals graduating from the University of Hargeisa.
