The University of Hargeisa (UoH) and King’s College London (KCL) are expanding their long-standing partnership through new initiatives aimed at advancing postgraduate medical education and collaborative research. This renewed engagement builds on years of successful cooperation between the two institutions in strengthening health education and capacity development in Somaliland.
During his visit to the United Kingdom, UoH President Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Sulub met with Dr. Andy Leather, Director of King’s Global Health Partnerships, to reaffirm both universities’ shared commitment to improving the governance, quality, and sustainability of postgraduate medical training. The discussions also focused on developing joint research opportunities and securing international grants to enhance medical education and healthcare delivery in the region.
